Job summary

Augusta Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Progressive Care-Telemetry unit in Fishersville, VA. The RN will coordinate direct patient care on a fast-paced PCU/Tele unit, lead the patient care team, and provide patient and family education.

Cardiac rhythm interpretation skills are valued for this role. Requirements include Virginia RN license or eligibility, 1 year of acute care RN experience, BSN or ADN enrolled in BSN program, and BLS certification.

Job Details Description The compensation for this position is a flat rate established for the role at the time of posting. Compensation is not subject to negotiation and is paid at the posted rate for all individuals hired into the position. Progressive Care-Telemetry at Augusta Health is a 32 bed unit. Nurses on this unit care for adult patients who are acutely ill with a wide variety of medical problems. The patient population on PCU/Tele includes cardiac, neuro, renal, infectious disease, pulmonary and more. As a RN on our unit, you will be accountable for the coordination of direct patient care, education, and serve as the leader of the patient care team in a fast paced setting. Nurses on this unit are trained in cardiac rhythm interpretation and work closely with other disciplines to ensure patients receive the highest quality care. By working on PCU/Tele, you will have immediate opportunities to be a part of shared governance, to promote evidence-based practice, and to lead organizational change in nursing practice. Requirements

• Currently licensed or eligible to be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Minimum of one year of RN experience in an acute care setting required
• BSN or ADN currently enrolled in a BSN program preferred
• BLS certification required
• Positive attitude, with enthusiasm for caring for our community
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective time management skills
