Job summary

Sabal Palms Recovery Center in Brooksville, Florida, is hiring Registered Nurses (RN) to join our addiction treatment team. The role offers PRN Night shifts with a pay rate of $32.50 to $37.00 per hour, depending on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package through Acadia Healthcare.

You will assess patients, develop care plans, educate families, document in medical records, and coordinate care within state nurse practice guidelines.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current RN license in state of employment.
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience; psychiatric/behavioral/substance abuse a plus.
• CPR and de-escalation and restraint certification required.
• First aid may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and families about conditions.
• Provide nursing care within standards of nursing practice and facility policies.
• Ensure physician orders are legible and transcribed correctly.
• Assess patient status and document pertinent information.
• Notify physicians of significant changes in status or emergencies.
• Complete admission and discharge processing accurately.
