UP Health System - Marquette is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - Neuro/Ortho/Peds for a PRN position in Skandia, MI. This role involves 12-hour shifts with varied schedules. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Performing care interventions such as medication administration, specimen collection, and clinical treatments.
  2. Documenting patient care accurately.
  3. Monitoring and communicating patient conditions to the care team, physicians, and families.
  4. Assisting with activities of daily living and providing patient education.
  5. Collaborating across disciplines for coordinated care.
  6. Advocating for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Michigan RN license.
  • Associate degree from an accredited nursing school (Bachelor's preferred).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS-HCP).
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) and Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course (ENPC) within 1 year.
