The UH TriPoint Medical Center ICU/Stepdown unit is looking for Registered Nurses interested in joining our team!

Provides safe, efficient, age-specific nursing care to patients/families using the nursing process to help them attain, maintain, regain, and sustain optimal health.


What You Will Do



  • Implement the nursing process by delivering effective relationship-based nursing care.

  • Demonstrate technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes.

  • Communicate clearly and collaborate effectively to optimize patient care and clinical operations.

  • Develop yourself and contribute to the professional practice of nursing.

  • Display leadership that influences clinical and operational outcomes.


Additional Responsibilities



  • Perform other duties as assigned.

  • Comply with all policies and standards.

  • Refer to departmental documentation during orientation for specific duties and responsibilities.

  • Maintain compliance with all requirements to securely handle Protected Health Information (PHI). Complete annual training, and adhere to the UH Code of Conduct and policies regarding PHI use.
