HCA Houston Healthcare Pearland is seeking a Registered Nurse PRN to join our operating room team. This role emphasizes patient-centered care, preoperative assessment, and collaboration with surgeons, nurses, and tech staff to ensure safety and efficient workflow.

The position offers flexible scheduling with on-call duties during select non-business hours and a comprehensive benefits package. Candidates should hold an RN license and BCLS/ACLS, with a degree in nursing, in Texas.

Qualifications

• RN license required; BLS and ACLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Bachelor's degree or Associate degree in Nursing required.

Responsabilités

• Assess patients preoperatively and plan perioperative care.
• Educate patients and families about the surgical procedure and perioperative process.
• Prepare patients, including IV therapy and preoperative medications, and verify surgical site.
• Participate in surgical site verification and universal protocols.
• Respond to patient emergencies and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.
• Collaborate with providers, surgeons, and surgical staff as part of the interdisciplinary team.
