Qualifications

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing recommended.
• Nursing - 1 year of experience.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license - Arkansas or Compact State.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates a competent level of understanding and application of the AC Model of Patient and Family-Centered care.
• Provides safe and effective nursing care with complete documentation and hand-offs.
• Assesses patients developmentally appropriate and culturally sensitive care.
• Develops, maintains, and applies the plan of care in collaboration with patient, family, and interdisciplinary team.
• Provides patient and family education and documents activities.
• Advances evidence-based nursing practice using best available evidence and team expertise.
• Exemplifies the AC Professional Practice Model and participates in councils and committees.
• Participates in interdisciplinary decision-making activities.
• Contributes to improvement of patient care and work environment.
• Accountable for quality of patient care and advocacy.
