Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in Mansfield, TX,is seeking a registered nurse to provide highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients. You will perform direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation).

This role supports the mission, vision, values and strategic goals of Methodist Health System in a 294-bed acute-care hospital.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Current license to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility to do so.
• Work experience: 12 months of RN experience.

Responsabilités

• Adheres to hospital standards, using effective communication and teamwork.
• Assumes responsibility for the nursing components of the patient/family/significant other education.
• Communicates with the team, patients and families and ensures understanding.
• Creates and maintains a safe and therapeutic environment for patients and staff.
• Ensures complete, accurate, and timely written communication of patient information.
• Delivers medication and IV administration safely and accurately.
• Takes initiative for performance and professional growth.
• Utilizes the nursing process to ensure quality patient care.
• Other duties as assigned.
