Job summary

Methodist Mansfield Medical Center in Mansfield, TX is seeking a dedicated registered nurse to provide high-quality direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care while supporting the hospital's mission and standards.

The role involves shift hours of 8 hours, 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM, Monday through Friday with MTWTF coverage. You must hold a nursing diploma, BLS, Texas license, and at least 12 months RN experience; join a team

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing and valid RN license.
• Current BLS certification required.
• Licensed to practice nursing in Texas or eligibility.
• Minimum 12 months RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment using communication and teamwork.
• Assumes responsibility for the nursing components of patient/family care.
• Communicates to the team, co-workers, patients, and family members and ensures understanding.
• Creates and maintains a safe, therapeutic environment for patients, staff, and facility.
• Ensures complete, accurate, and timely written patient information.
• Provides medication and IV administration safely and accurately.
• Takes personal responsibility for performance and professional growth.
• Utilizes the nursing process to ensure quality patient care during the episode of care.
