Job summary

AdventHealth in Burleson, TX is seeking a PRN RN for the Emergency Department. You will monitor vital signs, collaborate with the care team, and document patient records. The role requires ER experience, RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS certifications, with CPEN/TNCC preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing or degree program.
• 1+ year ER experience within the last 3 years.
• Emergency or critical care experience preferred.
• RN required.
• BLS CPR required.
• ACLS required.
• CPEN preferred.
• TNCC preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitors patient vital signs and symptoms, adjusting care plans accordingly.
• Collaborates with physicians, specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintains accurate and detailed patient records to support continuity of care.
• Communicates effectively with patients and their families to provide updates, education, and emotional support.
• Manages multiple patients simultaneously in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
• Demonstrates proficiency in emergency medical procedures and the use of medical equipment.
