Job summary

Good Samaritan in Miller, SD is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide individualized nursing care using the nursing process. The role involves collaboration with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary colleagues to plan, implement and evaluate care.

The RN will coordinate care, assess residents, educate families, and perform nursing interventions, with potential to serve as charge nurse and delegate duties to staff. PRN schedule and day shifts are available.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program; CCNE/ACEN/NLN CNEA preferred.
• Bachelor's Degree in nursing preferred.
• Currently holds an unencumbered RN license where practice occurs; multistate licensure if NLC state.

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to provide individualized care to residents.
• Collaborate with residents, families, and inter-disciplinary team to plan, implement and evaluate care.
• Coordinate care, assess residents, educate, and perform various nursing interventions.
• May serve as charge nurse and delegate tasks to licensed/unlicensed staff.
