Job summary

Huntsville Hospital Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse to organize and coordinate delivery of nursing care for patient groups in accordance with hospital policies. You will provide direct patient care, monitor status, evaluate progress, perform treatments, and document observations.

The RN will participate in orientation, training and management of staff, requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, valid AL RN license and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current AL RN License.
• BLS required.

Overview

The Registered Nurse (RN) organizes and coordinates delivery of nursing care to groups of patients in compliance with hospital and departmental policies, protocols and procedures. He/she provides direct patient care by monitoring physiological and behavioral status, evaluating patient progress and the effectiveness of interventions, and by performing treatments and procedures. He/she recognizes, reports and documents clinical observations. The Registered Nurse participates in orientation, training and management of personnel.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Current AL RN License. BLS required.
