Qualifications

• Must be able to perform essential nursing duties with appropriate visual and communication abilities.
• RN license active in the state of practice, required upon hire.
• Preferred 1-3 years’ experience in a clinical environment.

Responsibilities

• Provides patient care by reviewing physician prescriptions and communicating the care plan.
• Develops nursing care plans by assessing patients and documenting status.
• Teaches patients and families about conditions, medications, and self-care.
• Evaluates care by monitoring outcomes and adjusting care plans.
• Maintains safe patient environment by following infection control and safety policies.
• Documents care in patient records.
• Keeps equipment and supplies ready and maintained.
• Maintains nursing competence through ongoing professional development.
