Job summary

Ashtabula Regional Medical Center is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide direct and indirect patient care. Candidates should be licensed to practice in Ohio and have a recognized nursing degree, preferably a BSN. The RN will demonstrate competency in patient care, ensuring that patients receive appropriate attention and treatment.

This position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work under stressful conditions. Certification like BLS, ACLS, or others is expected within the first year.

Qualifications

• One year of related nursing experience, preferred.
• Must be currently licensed to practice in the state of Ohio.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP certification required within the first year for appropriate unit.

Job Summary

The Registered Nurse (RN) provides general and specialized direct and indirect patient care through the application of sound nursing practice procedures. The RN will demonstrate competency in the behavioral, growth and development, and psychosocial needs of the population served. This role will encounter Protected Health Information (PHI) as part of their regular responsibilities. Together, our providers, nurses, and nursing support caregivers provide a team approach to patient care and are committed to the philosophy of, "Patients First".

Education, Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities

Required Length And Type Of Experience

• One year of related nursing experience, preferred.

Required Licensure Or Certification

Required Physical And Environmental Demands

• Full range of body motion including handling and lifting patients
• Manual and finger dexterity along with hand-eye coordination

• Working under stressful conditions and irregular hours.
• Exposure to communicable diseases and/or body fluids.
