Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services, Inc. in Greeneville is seeking a Registered Nurse to support pediatric and/or adult patients in their own homes.

The role offers hourly pay with weekly paychecks and a benefits package including health, dental, vision, HSA, life insurance, PTO, and a 401(k). Responsibilities include applying the nursing process, initiating care plans, administering meds, and coordinating patient education and discharge planning.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services.
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests revisions as patient status and needs change.
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and goals.
• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports changes to physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, and monitors and documents effectiveness.
• Reviews plan of care and identifies education, care coordination, and discharge planning needs.
