Job summary

Maxim Healthcare in Cleveland, TN, is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide in-home care to pediatric and/or adult patients, with a variety of acuities including G-tube, Trach, and Ventilator dependent conditions. You may work day or night shifts with 8, 10, or 12-hour options.

Responsibilities include planning and delivering comprehensive nursing care, monitoring patient status, administering medications, and coordinating with physicians and families.

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state where practicing.
• Current Health Certificate per facility RN contract or state regulation.
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in home settings.
• Initiates plan of care and updates as patient needs change.
• Provides therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions.
• Responds to changes in patient condition and reports to physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed and documents effects.
• Reviews plan of care and coordinates education, discharge planning as applicable.

Sign on bonus: $1,200 Day shift and up to $4000 Night shift

Day or Night shifts available. 8, 10 and 12 hour shift lengths.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals
• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention
• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
