Job summary

Maxim Healthcare Services in Cleveland, TN is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide in-home care for pediatric and/or adult patients at varying acuity levels, including G-tube, Trach, and ventilator-dependent clients. Day or night shifts are available, with 8, 10, and 12‑hour options.

Licensed RNs earn $25–$32 per hour with weekly pay and sign-on bonuses of $1,200 for day shifts and up to $4,000 for night shifts. Benefits include health, dental, vision, HSA and life insurance, PTO, and a 401(k).

Qualifications

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license for the state where the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility RN contract or state regulation).
• One year prior RN experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for clients in home settings.
• Initiates the plan of care and revises as patient needs change.
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on diagnosis and goals.
• Intervenes to changes in patient status and reports to physician or supervisor.
• Administers medications and treatments and documents effectiveness.
• Reviews plan of care and coordinates education, care coordination and discharge planning.

Responsibilities:

• Utilizes the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient/client care and/or services provided to client(s) receiving contracted services, as required
• Initiates the plan of care when directed and requests from prescriber any necessary revisions as patient status and needs change
• Incorporates therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions based on patient diagnosis and established goals
• Intervenes as applicable in response to changes in patient/client condition and reports such changes to appropriate physician or supervisor
• Administers medications and treatments as prescribed, as well as, monitors and documents effectiveness of intervention
• Reviews plan of care and program protocols and identifies areas for healthcare teaching/education, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning needs, as applicable

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) License for the state in which the nurse practices.
• Current Health Certificate (per facility Registered Nurse (RN) contract or state regulation).
• Current PPD or Chest X-Ray.
• Current BLS card.
• One year prior Registered Nurse (RN) experience preferred.
