Job description

JOB TITLE: RN - PreOp PACU (PRN - Fridays)

*Must be available to work on Fridays*

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES

Responsible for assessing and preparing patients for Cardiac Cath, Cardiac Rhythm Management Implants, and IR procedures. Recovers, monitors, and cares for post-cardiac catheterization, post-cardiac intervention, post-peripheral angiography/intervention, and post-Cardiac Rhythm Management patients.

REPORTS TO

Receives direction from: Providers, Anesthesia providers, Nurse Manager, Cath Lab Manager/Director, and Charge Nurse.

SUPERVISES

LPN, C.N.A

EXPERIENCE
  • Pre-Post Cardiac Catheterization, preferred.
  • Tele or PACU/ICU, preferred.
  • Advanced critical thinking skills; self-motivated; adaptable to a fast-paced environment; effective time management; embraces change; innovative thinker focused on process improvement, preferred.
EDUCATION/LICENSE/CERTIFICATIONS
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current PA Registered Nurse License
  • Current American Heart Association BLS and ACLS certifications required
