Job Opportunity: PACU Registered Nurse (PACU RN) at North Haven Surgery Center

Welcome to North Haven Surgery Center, operated by United Surgical Partners International, Inc. We focus on providing a high-quality, service-oriented environment for your surgical procedures, utilizing advanced technology in specialties such as General Surgery, Gynecology, Otolaryngology (ENT), Pain Management, and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Position: RN PACU

The PACU Registered Nurse provides continuous, quality nursing care for all patients, evaluating their condition and ensuring safety, comfort, and privacy. Responsibilities include assisting physicians, managing conscious sedation, and providing comprehensive care to patients emerging from anesthesia or sedation, including assessment, planning, and discharge preparation.

Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
  • Active RN license in Connecticut
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification; PALS preferred
  • At least 2 years of experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred
  • Strong decision-making, organizational, and communication skills
