Required Skills:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current NJ Registered Nurse License
  • Current CPR, ACLS, PALS certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in PreOp/PACU, Critical Care, ED, or Telemetry
  • Ability to recognize, evaluate, solve problems, and correct errors
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Demonstrates accountability, professionalism, openness, receptiveness to change, creativity, and innovation
  • Ability to adapt quickly to change, with a strong knowledge base of surgical procedures and management of surgical patients
  • Understanding of aseptic techniques and their implementation
  • Excellent teaching skills
  • Basic knowledge of Performance Improvement principles
  • Excellent team player with strong communication skills with staff, patients, and physicians
