POSITION SUMMARY: We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Sourcing Specialist. This role involves providing strategic sourcing services on indirect/corporate services spend to NYU Langone Health based on predefined service levels. Commodities may include, but are not limited to, Financial Services; Accounting, CRM solutions, and general indirect system-wide spend. The specialist will request, review, and execute contracts from start to finish, collaborating with internal teams including Data Management, Purchasing, Clinical Supply Chain, Project Management, and Value Analysis (VA). The specialist works under the general direction of the Sourcing Manager and will be responsible for guiding Contract Admins.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Additional Position Responsibilities: Organizational savvy; strong written and verbal communication skills; excellent customer service skills; ability to follow documented processes. Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
Minimum Qualifications: 2-3 years relevant work experience, preferably 1 year in strategic sourcing within healthcare or related organizations.
Preferred Qualifications: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of procurement/sourcing processes; strong analytical and problem-solving skills, especially with data in Excel. Must communicate effectively across all organizational levels.
