Join to apply for the RN PreOp PACU FT role at United Surgical Partners International, Inc

USPI Shoreline Surgery Center is seeking a motivated RN PreOp PACU to join our team. We have 4 OR rooms and 1 Treatment room, performing outpatient surgical procedures in Gastroenterology and Ophthalmology. Position requires weekdays only — no holidays, weekends, or call. Must be able to work early morning hours; schedule subject to change based on surgical schedule and flow of the day. Competitive salary and benefits are offered for the right candidate.

Job Summary: The RN Pre-op/PACU provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The role involves providing safe, effective, and patient-family centered care in perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization and reports to the Manager of Peri-operative Services.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current Texas Nursing License
  • Current BLS certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred but not required
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in Pre-Op/PACU preferred but not required; training available for the right candidate

USPI complies with all applicable laws regarding mandatory vaccination. If offered this position and required to be vaccinated, proof of full vaccination or a valid exemption must be provided prior to start date. Exemptions require regular testing in accordance with law.
