Job summary

Mayo Clinic is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to coordinate nursing care, educate patients and families, and manage transitions across Preop and PACU. You will contribute to the Mayo Clinic Nursing Practice Model, participate in leadership activities, and mentor teammates.

Candidates must hold an RN license and BLS; ACLS is required on hire. Flexible hours, weekend and holiday coverage, and a commitment to high-quality patient care are expected.

Qualifications

• Current RN license by applicable state requirements.
• Maintains BLS competency.
• ACLS required upon hire.
• Experience in ICU/PACU/ED preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate nursing care and direct patient care.
• Educate patients and families; manage care transitions.
• Lead and mentor team; ensure quality improvement.
• Manage shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and on-call.
