Job summary

Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla in San Diego seeks a perioperative registered nurse for a per diem role. The position features 12-hour shifts (0700–1900 expected), four shifts every four weeks, and no mandatory on-call duty, with on-boarding training typically three weeks depending on orientation pace.

You will work in a high-functioning Magnet hospital and Level I trauma center, supporting patient care across cardiac cath lab, OR, IR, and endoscopy while aligning with a collaborative team

This is a casual status also known as Per Diem position. The start time is primarily0700-11:00 with a 12 hour shift. Commitment of 4 shifts per 4 week schedule is expected. No call is required but is available if desired. Training is typically 3 weeks but depends on how many days of the they orient.
