USPI Memorial Hermann Surgery Center Greater Heights is seeking a motivated RN PreOp/PACU to join our team. We have 5 OR rooms and 3 Treatment rooms. We perform outpatient surgical procedures in ENT, General, GI, GYN, Ophthalmology, Orthopedics, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry, Urology. We are looking for a candidate to be available Monday-Friday, with schedules subject to change based on surgical flow. Availability for early mornings and later evenings is required.
Position requires weekdays only — no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings may be required.
Job Summary: The RN Pre-op/PACU is a Registered Nurse responsible for providing quality patient care using the nursing process, medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN Pre-op/PACU ensures safe, effective, and patient-family centered care in perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN supports the mission, vision, and values of the organization. The RN reports to the Manager of Peri-operative Services.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
USPI complies with federal, state, and local laws regarding mandatory vaccination. If offered this position and required to be vaccinated, you must show proof of full vaccination or obtain an exemption prior to your start date. Exemptions require regular testing as per law.
