HCA Florida Northwest Hospital seeks a Registered Nurse in Pre-Admission to prepare patients for procedures. You will perform comprehensive assessments, review histories, coordinate with physicians and anesthesia, obtain consent forms, and educate patients on upcoming steps.

The ideal candidate has a Florida RN license, BLS, and 2 years of Med/Surg/Pre-Admission experience, with excellent communication and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Current Florida license as Registered Nurse or Compact Licensure.
• Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current BLS certification or obtained within 30 days of start date.
• 2 years Med/Surg/Pre-Admission Outpatient Surgery experience.

Responsabilités

• Perform physical assessments and review lab results.
• Obtain consent forms and educate patients on post-procedure care.
• Identify risks and ensure pre-admission requirements are met.
• Collaborate with physicians, anesthesiologists and other staff.
