Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital in Mayfield Heights, OH is seeking an experienced RN for the Pre & Post-Surgical General Surgery unit to provide essential nursing care for adult and geriatric patients undergoing various surgeries. This role offers a supportive team environment and a full-time day shift.

Responsibilities include direct nursing care, implementing care plans, monitoring patient conditions, coordinating discharges, and educating patients and families.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN, BSN) required.
• BSN preferred.
• One year current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting required.
• Military RN experience will be considered.

• Administer prescribed medications and treatment in accordance with approved nursing protocol.

About This Role

What You'll Do

Requirements

Education:

Licenses & Certifications:

• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross required.
