Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Martin North Hospital in Stuart, FL, seeks an RN for the Pre-Op and Post-Op Surgery Team. You will deliver direct patient care before and after procedures, ensure timely care, and assist with discharge planning.

Requirements: graduation from an accredited nursing program, active Florida RN license, BLS, and one year of acute care RN experience (or licensed military RN). Preferred BSN with two years of recent clinical nursing.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing (Diploma, ADN or BSN)
• Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Florida
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• One year of current acute care RN experience OR licensed military RN experience

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care before and after surgical procedures
• Prepare bays and calls to patients for pre/post-op follow-up
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure timely care and discharge planning
• Educate patients and families
