Responsibilities

• Adhere to ANA Standards of Practice, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
• Follow ANA Standards of Professional Performance, demonstrating ethics, cultural competence, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice, quality, and resource utilization.

Qualifications

Education: Graduation from an accredited nursing program; BSN preferred. Current BCLS certification required within one month of hire.

Experience: All RNs encouraged to participate in our SPIRE clinical advancement program.

Licensure: Current RN license in Connecticut; specialty certification encouraged.

Physical Demands

Prolonged standing, walking, and exposure to infectious diseases. Must be able to assist with patient handling, including lifting patients up to 300 pounds.
