Job summary

Corewell Health is seeking a Registered Nurse for an outpatient clinic in Trenton, MI. The role emphasizes the nursing process, patient/family education, and collaborative care planning in a fast-paced setting.

The RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care under leadership, with a focus on discharge planning and health record documentation. BLS and MI RN licensure are required or in process. This position offers daytime hours and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates in Nursing Required.
• Bachelors in Nursing Preferred.
• Graduates from a non-accredited school of nursing must have at least one year of acute care experience or at least two years of experience in a licensed health care role and must have successfully passed the NCLEX licensure examination.
• MI Registered Nurse (RN) Required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required upon hire from one of the following organizations: American Heart Association, American Red Cross, or Canadian Heart and Stroke.
• 2 years of acute care RN experience required.
• Procedural nursing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care using the nursing process and patient-family centered care.
• Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and discharge under the Nurse Leader guidance.
• Develop teaching strategies for patient/family and document education in health records.
• Collaborate with patient/family input in planning the plan of care.
• Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with Corewell Health policies.
