Job summary

Freeman Health System in Joplin, MO, is seeking an RN for Pre-Op/PACU. This full-time day-shift role offers exposure to a wide range of surgical and endoscopy procedures in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

You will perform ongoing patient assessments, plan and implement care in line with the medical plan, and ensure safe, effective perioperative recovery. Missouri RN license and ACLS/BLS/PALS within specified timelines are required.

Qualifications

• Current Missouri Registered Nurse License or license from a compact state.
• ACLS within 180 days.
• BLS for healthcare providers within 30 days.
• PALS provider within 180 days.
• Perioperative RN Competency Day annually by transcript due date.

Responsibilities

• In conjunction with the medical plan of care, independently assesses patient and family needs, plans and implements interventions, and evaluates effectiveness for safe, effective perioperative care.
