Job summary

Piedmont Fayette Hospital is seeking a Staff Nurse in the Pre-Op unit for full-time days. Schedule is 6:00 am to 3:30 pm with call required, and a $5,000 sign-on bonus is available to experienced candidates.

As an RN, you will deliver holistic, patient-centered care in a collaborative environment using state-of-the-art technology to support exceptional patient outcomes. Piedmont provides comprehensive rewards and a supportive leadership team.

Qualifications

• Must have graduated from a nursing program.
• Experience in surgical services preferred.
• Current Georgia RN license or NLC/eNLC multistate license required.
• BLS certification required (via American Heart Association or American Red Cross).

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients across the lifecycle using the nursing process.
• Coordinate patient care activities with assigned staff.
• Maintain standards of practice and contribute to quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

The staff nurse provides nursing care to patients from birth through the lifecycle utilizing nursing processes to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate the care for patients. He/she functions within the framework of the policies and procedures of the organization and demonstrates professional growth and accountability. The staff nurse is responsible for maintaining standards of practice, coordinating patient care activities of all assigned staff in the provision of quality nursing care.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Must have graduated from a nursing program.
• Previous experience in surgical services.
• Current License in the state of Georgia as a registered nurse or NLC/eNLC Multistate License.
• BLS Certification is required. Must obtain certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross.
