Job summary

CommonSpirit Health's Flaget Memorial Hospital in Bardstown, KY is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate, high-quality patient care in a collaborative, interdisciplinary team.

The role offers a generous sign-on bonus up to $10,000 and up to $24,000 in student loan assistance, with a pay range of $30.00–$43.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• RN license in KY at hire.
• BLS/CPR certification at hire.
• ACLS within 6 months.
• PALS within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Assess and analyze patient conditions to determine interventions.
• Implement and modify care plans including education and discharge planning.
• Coordinate care with interdisciplinary team and ensure patient safety.
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments per policies.
• Evaluate progress toward achieving patient outcomes.

This position is eligible for up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus AND up to $24,000 Student Loan Assistance As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will be a pivotal healthcare professional, delivering compassionate, high-quality care that truly impacts our patients' well-being and recovery.

Every day, you will leverage your expertise to provide individualized, comprehensive care, making critical assessments, performing skilled procedures, and meticulously implementing patient care plans. You'll collaborate seamlessly within an interdisciplinary team, contributing to a dynamic environment focused on optimal patient outcomes.

• Assumes responsibility for acquiring knowledge and skills necessary for patient care in the identified practice setting.
• Performs assessment and analyzes patient problems and conditions using critical decisioning to determine need for standard, urgent or emergent interventions.
• Implements and/or modifies plan of care using assessment data, standards of care and evidence based practice inclusive of nursing care coordination, appropriate patient and family education, and discharge planning. Facilitates interdisciplinary partnership in patient care.
• Integrates ethical provisions in nursing practice and delivers care in a manner that preserves and protects patient autonomy, dignity and rights.
• Administers medications, IV therapy, and treatments in compliance with policies and procedures.
• Evaluates progress towards attainment of desired patient outcomes.
