Zusammenfassung

OrthoNebraska is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Pre-Admissions to assess and prepare patients for surgery. You will conduct pre-operative phone assessments, review histories, coordinate tests, and educate patients.

Responsibilities include documenting in the EMR, identifying risks, and collaborating with the surgical team to optimize readiness. A Nebraska RN license and 3+ years med-surgical experience are preferred.

Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Current Registered Nurse license in Nebraska or eligible compact state.
• Minimum 3 years medical-surgical experience with patient assessment and teaching.

• Pre-Admission Assessment and Coordination: review med history, allergies and prior surgical experiences.
• Coordinate pre-operative testing and ensure results are communicated to the surgical team.
• Educate patients on pre-operative instructions, anesthesia, and post-operative care.
