We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with direct Indian Health Service (IHS) Purchased/Referred Care (PRC) experience for a long-term case management assignment in Montana.

This 6+ month contract is ideal for an RN who understands PRC workflows, referrals, care coordination, authorization processes, and working with patients who require services outside the direct-care system.

Responsibilities

Coordinate Purchased/Referred Care cases and external healthcare referrals.

Review clinical information and support appropriate referral and authorization workflows.

Coordinate care between patients, providers, outside facilities, and internal teams.

Maintain accurate case management and referral documentation.

Follow applicable IHS PRC policies, procedures, and care coordination requirements.

Support continuity of care and timely follow-up for referred services.

Requirements

Active Registered Nurse license.

Previous IHS Purchased/Referred Care (PRC) experience required.

Strong communication, documentation, and organizational skills.

Ability to start as soon as credentialing and clearance are completed.
