Job summary

WakeMed Health & Hospitals seeks a physician practice administrator to supervise multiple locations and lead 9+ physicians/APPs FTEs. The role reports to the Executive Director and Practice Administrator, coordinating resources to meet service line goals.

Responsibilities include ensuring regulatory compliance (TJC, CMS, DHHS), optimal operations, and physician engagement across WakeMed Physician Practices, aligning with the organization’s mission and values.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse license required.
• Oncology Certified Nurse: preferred.
• Certified Registered Nurse Intravenous: preferred.
• 3 Years Leadership Required

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage physician services across two or more practice locations or 9+ physicians/APPs FTEs.
• Coordinate resources with the Executive Director, Practice Administrator, and physician leaders to meet goals.
• Ensure regulatory compliance (TJC, NCBON, CMS, DHHS) and drive operational improvements in WakeMed Physician Practices.
