Job summary

Catholic Care Center in Bel Aire, KS is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide direct patient care on the 6P-6A shift. Pay depends on experience, starting at $33.00/hour with a $2.00/hour weekend differential.

The role emphasizes assessment, care planning, medication administration, patient education, documentation, discharge planning, and collaboration with the clinical team. Experience preferred but not required; RN licensure in good standing required.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Registered Nurse program.
• A minimum of one year experience as a RN preferred but not required.
• Supervisory experience preferred but not required.
• Possesses working knowledge of State and Federal regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assessment: Performs assessments on patients/residents and reassessments as per policy.
• Planning/Implementation/Evaluation: Develops and implements care plans tailored to meet individual needs.
• Medication Administration: Demonstrates knowledge of medications and their correct administration.
• Patient education: Plans for and provides education to patient/resident and family.
• Documentation: Documents according to current standards and policies.
• Discharge planning: Plans for discharge and coordinates with the team.
• Delegation/Collaboration: Delegates and collaborates in providing care; follows up.
• Safety: Ensures resident safety and initiates corrective action as appropriate.
• Other duties as assigned.
