Job summary

Temple Health – Temple University Health System is seeking a registered nurse to assess, implement, and evaluate patient care under the direction of a licensed physician, using the nursing process to tailor care to each patient.

The RN collaborates with patients and families, leads nursing staff, and adheres to professional standards and hospital policies. A Bachelor’s degree is preferred and 1 year of clinical specialty experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• 1 year experience in area of clinical specialty preferred.

Job description

Assesses, implements, and evaluates care needed by assigned patients under the direction of the licensed physician. The RN is knowledgeable about principles, theories, current methods and techniques of nursing practice. Using the nursing process, the RN collaborates with the patient, patient's family member(s)/significant others, professional peers and other members of the health care team to individualize patient care. Directs nursing support staff in the provision of patient care according to the standards of nursing practice, administrative and departmental policies and procedures. Professional education, training or additional certifications may be required by specialty area.

Experience

Licenses

• PA Registered Nurse License Required
