Job summary

Atlas MedStaff is seeking a skilled PICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week contract in Tucson, AZ. The role involves floating to pediatric units and delivering critical care expertise during 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend coverage and a 36-hour workweek.

Candidates must have at least two years in PICU, be proficient with ventilators, high-flow nasal cannula, and DKA cases, and hold an active RN license.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of PICU experience.
• Ventilator and high-flow nasal cannula management.
• Experience handling DKA cases in pediatric patients.
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a floating role.
• Active RN license in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Float to Pediatric units as needed on contract.
• Provide specialized PICU nursing care and support ventilated patients.
• Cover night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM, with every other weekend.
• Maintain patient safety, accuracy, and timely documentation.
