Job summary

HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital in Florida seeks a Registered Nurse to provide and supervise direct patient care in the PICU, leveraging the nursing process to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes.

You'll work with physicians, administer medications, and uphold standards. A Florida RN license, BLS, NRP, and PICU experience are required, with NICU/NNS certs preferred.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing with an Associate’s degree or higher.
  • Current State of Florida Registered RN License or recognized Compact Licensure.
  • Current BLS Certification via American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
  • Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification.
  • One or more years of experience as a Level III PICU RN.
  • Current National Neonatal High-Risk Nursing and STABLE certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

Job Summary and Qualifications

HCA Florida Lawnwood Hospital is a 380-bed acute-care hospital. Offering a full range of services. We are home to the most experienced Heart Institute on the Treasure Coast. Lawnwood Hospital provides interventional and therapeutic care, including open-heart surgery. Other hospital services include labor/delivery, pediatrics, orthopedics, oncology, nuclear medicine, adult and pediatric emergency services, and diagnostic services. We also offer inpatient, and outpatient surgical services.

Lawnwood Hospital is a designated Certified Primary Stroke Center. The Physical Rehabilitation Center is CARF accredited. We are a Level II Trauma Center.
