Mercy is seeking a qualified nurse to provide professional nursing care to patients within the medical practice and to support physicians in treatment and procedures.

The role emphasizes Mercy's philosophy of caring, respect for life and dignity, and Christian values. The nurse will communicate effectively with patients and families, and perform related clinical duties, with responsibilities including documentation and patient education. On-site position.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current valid state nursing license.
• CPR certification required or obtained within 90 days of employment.

Responsabilités

• Assist physician in treatment of patients and complete related clinical paperwork.
• Provide professional nursing care and support in alignment with Mercy philosophy.
• Communicate clearly with patients, families, staff and the public; maintain professional relationships.
• React calmly and effectively in emergencies and apply guidelines/policies.
• Operate clinic equipment related to the specialty.
