Job description

Job Overview

The University of Minnesota Medical Center - West Bank Campus is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric homecare team in the Peritoneal Dialysis Department.

This position is casual, with day and evening shifts of 10 hours each. The role includes regular on-call shifts.

The Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, delivering, and evaluating nursing care for assigned patient populations.

• The RN will perform these responsibilities in accordance with all policies, procedures, professional practice guidelines, and the MN Nurse Practice Act.
• The RN will coordinate care with healthcare team members and delegate responsibilities as appropriate.
• The RN must demonstrate the ability to safely and accurately operate unit equipment.

Required Qualifications:

• MN RN License
• BLS certification
• ADN degree
• At least 1 year of Peritoneal Dialysis experience

Preferred Qualifications:

• BSN or higher degree
• Pediatric experience
• Previous Dialysis experience
• Certified Nephrology Nurse (CNN) or Certified Dialysis Nurse (CDN) certification

Compensation

The posted salary range reflects the minimum and maximum pay rates in the union agreement at the time of posting. Individual pay may vary based on FTE, skills, experience, education, and qualifications.

Salary range: $41.69/hour - $66.06/hour (ADN), $43.11/hour - $68.37/hour (BSN), $44.58/hour - $70.60/hour (MSN), based on experience.
