Job summary

Enloe Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Perioperative unit in Chico, CA. The RN provides patient care in the OR under the medical plan of care and collaborates with surgeons, anesthesia and nursing staff to ensure safe, high-quality perioperative experience.

The position is full-time, nights, 12-hour shifts, with Friday-Sunday rotation. California RN license, CPR, ACLS, and PALS within 1 year are required or preferred; CNOR is desired.

Qualifications

• Two years current perioperative experience (preferred).
• California RN license (Board of Registered Nursing).
• ACLS within 1 year of employment.
• PALS within 1 year of employment (preferred).
• CNOR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in accordance with Enloe policies and patient care plan.
• Coordinate patient care with the multidisciplinary team.
• Prioritize patient needs and ensure safety during perioperative period.
• Document care and participate in unit-based quality improvement.
