RN Per Diem Peds ED

Pediatric Emergency Department

The RN Per Diem Peds ED will:

1. Be a positive contributor to our collaborative nursing team.
2. Utilize excellent assessment skills to determine the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards.
3. Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care.
4. Administer medications and parenteral therapies in accordance with policy.
5. Meticulously document all aspects of patient care.

Requirements:

• Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
• One (1) year of experience preferred. BSN preferred.
• BLS certification required, as approved by the American Heart Association.
• ACLS certification obtained during clinical orientation.
• PALS certification obtained during clinical orientation.
• ECG course completed during clinical orientation.
• ENPC (Emergency Nurse Pediatrics Course) completed during clinical orientation.
• Procedural Sedation course completed during clinical orientation.

Salary Range: $53.00 per hour.

We offer competitive rates based on factors such as job-related experience, internal equity, and industry market data. Some positions may be eligible for additional compensation like clinical certification pay and shift differentials.
