Job summary

Community Healthcare Network is seeking a Nurse/RN-Per Diem to support clinic clients by executing physicians’ orders, counseling on health issues, and providing care in a busy outpatient setting.

The role requires NY State RN licensure and a current CPR certificate. The position offers per diem hours, collaborative team environment, and opportunities for ongoing professional development within a nonprofit health network.

Qualifications

• Currently registered to practice as a Registered Nurse in New York State (NY RN) and CPR certification required.
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team while maintaining confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Assist clinic clients by implementing physicians’ orders and providing health counseling.
• Record, report and interpret nursing services and client responses.
• Collaborate with health team members to ensure high quality services.
• Triage walk-in patients and perform venipuncture as needed.
• Order medications, vaccines and medical supplies as required.
• Maintain nursing competence through ongoing professional development.
