Job summary

Cynet HealthStaff is seeking a Registered Nurse to join the Pediatric Emergency Room team for a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of pediatric ER experience, CPR certifications, and CPI Blue Card. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform triage and manage critical care procedures.

• Assist with moderate sedation, chest tube care, and ventilation as indicated.
• Collaborate with ancillary staff to deliver comprehensive pediatric ER care.

Description:The Registered Nurse in the Pediatric Emergency Room is responsible for providing high-quality care to pediatric patients in emergency situations.Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in a Pediatric Emergency setting.The role includes performing triage, managing critical care procedures, and administering medications as needed.Common diagnoses treated include asthma, diabetic ketoacidosis, and sickle cell disease.The RN will participate in moderate sedation, chest tube care, and the use of advanced ventilation support.Responsibilities also include interpreting 12-lead EKGs and managing blood product administration.Nurse to patient ratio is 1:4, ensuring optimal patient care.The position requires teamwork with ancillary staff to deliver comprehensive care.
