Job summary

Atlas MedStaff is seeking a Pediatric Acute Care RN to join a float pool in Aurora, Colorado on a 14-week night assignment. You will provide specialized pediatric care across units, including surgical, medical, psychiatric, NICU, and rehab, while floating to different locations.

The role requires travel experience in pediatric acute care and current licensure with BLS, PALS, and ACLS. Work 12-hour nights (6:45 PM–7:15 AM), about 36 hours per week, with every third weekend and holiday shifts.

Qualifications

• Pediatric acute care experience required.
• RN licensed to practice in the relevant state.
• Current BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications are required or can be obtained before assignment.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized pediatric care across units (surgical, medical, psychiatric, NICU, rehab) while floating to different locations.

This role offers a unique opportunity to experience diverse patient populations, including trach/vent-dependent children, with an emphasis on respiratory and mental health care. The position involves handling inpatient and observational assignments, with a focus on teamwork and adaptability. Travel experience in pediatric acute care is essential, along with current licensure and certifications such as BLS, PALS, and ACLS. Expect to work every third weekend and be available for holiday shifts, with RTO restricted during major holiday blackout periods.
