Job summary

Atlas MedStaff is seeking a Pediatric CVPICU travel RN for a 13-week assignment at Children’s Hospital Colorado @ Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora. You will care for critically ill pediatric patients who recently underwent open-heart surgeries, in a dedicated CVPICU setting, with rotating 12-hour day and night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.

The role requires 2-3 years CVPICU experience, PALS, ACLS and BLS; Pediatric CCRN preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years CVPICU experience required.
• BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications required.
• CCRNs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Care for critically ill pediatric patients in CVPICU post-op.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team to plan and adjust care.
• Monitor patients and respond to changes in condition.

Join the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit team at Children’s Hospital Colorado @ Anschutz Medical Campus for a 13-week travel assignment as an RN in the CICU. This role offers the opportunity to work in a dedicated pediatric CVPICU setting, caring for critically ill children post-open heart surgeries. The position involves rotating 12-hour day and night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM, requiring adaptability to unit needs. You’ll experience the challenge and reward of managing complex cases within a vibrant hospital environment that values expertise, including float requirements across neighboring areas. It’s a chance to refine your pediatric critical care skills while exploring one of the region’s most engaging healthcare settings. The assignment demands a minimum of 2-3 years of CVPICU experience, PALS, ACLS, BLS certifications, and ideally Pediatric CCRN.
