Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. in Dallas, TX is seeking a Pediatric Registered Nurse for the night shift (6:45 PM–7:15 AM). You will perform direct patient care within the RN scope, focusing on pediatric outcomes and nursing processes.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BSN required within 24 months of hire.
• Current Texas RN license or compact license.
• Current BLS provider.
• PALS required within 6 months of hire or transfer (from 1/1/2014).
• Minimum 1 year acute care hospital experience in last 3 years.
• Experience in pediatrics is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within the scope of the RN Practice Act with emphasis on pediatric care.
• Apply nursing process to achieve outcomes for the Pediatric Service Line.

Job Summary and Qualifications

JOB SUMMARY Perform direct patient care within the scope of the Registered Nurse Practice Act, with emphasis on nursing process / outcomes for the Pediatric Service Line.What qualifications you will need:

• Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
• If hired after 6/1/12, BSN required within 24 months of hire into RN position.
• Current RN license in the State of Texas or compact license
• Current American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS provider
• Effective 1/1/2014 PALS required within 6 months of hire or transfer.
• Minimum of one-year experience in acute care hospital within the last three years, required.
• Experience in pediatrics is Required.
