Job summary

Banner Health is seeking an RN Pediatric Trauma Program Manager in Tucson to lead the trauma program, coordinate quality initiatives, and oversee operational and educational activities for the pediatric trauma care team.

The role requires strong leadership, familiarity with ACS/NTDB/TQIP benchmarks, and a commitment to continuous improvement in patient outcomes. A bachelor’s in nursing and RN licensure are required, with TNCC preferred and ATCN/ABLS as advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing is required.
• Current RN licensure in state of practice is required.
• BLS certification required.
• Current TNCC; ATCN preferred.
• Instructor status in either or both is highly desired.
• ABLS certification required for burn programs.
• Minimum five years clinical experience in a high patient acuity area (trauma/pediatric/burn).
• Minimum two years supervisory or leadership experience.
• TPM and TOPIC courses must be completed within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Promotes optimal care of injured patients through leadership and coordination of the trauma program.
• Oversees quality of care and identifies opportunities for improvement.
• Coordinates daily operations with other departments, services, and referral facilities.
• Ensures compliance with ACS and state regulatory requirements.
• Maintains trauma quality program and related documentation.
• Develops and oversees data processes and benchmarking activities (NTDB/TQIP).
• Provides education for trauma team personnel and community education programs.
• Assists with departmental budget and staff management.
