Job summary

MultiCare Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital & Health Network is seeking a staff RN to join our hospital-based team. This role uses specialized nursing training within a multidisciplinary setting to deliver patient-centered care.

We offer a 0.9 FTE, Day shift with 12-hour shifts and rotating weekends, and a sign-on bonus up to $10,000 for BSN-qualified new hires with 3+ years of RN experience. Join a purpose-driven network dedicated to pediatric health in Washington.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Washington State or multi-state endorsement.
• BSN degree preferred; bachelor level nursing education is expected.
• Current BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/TNCC/NALS as required by department.
• Minimum of 1 year of acute care nursing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating.
• Deliver nursing care using the nursing process per hospital policies.
• Collaborate with the nursing team to improve quality of care and patient experience.
• Foster a learning environment for patients, families, and staff.
• Promote ethical, holistic care respecting diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• You will organize patient care by prioritizing, delegating, delivering and evaluating on an ongoing basis


• You will utilize the knowledge base of nursing education and experience to deliver nursing care using the nursing process according to hospital policies, procedures and protocols


• Collaborate with the nursing team to facilitate overall improvement in quality of care, patient experience and cost reduction


• Foster a learning environment for patients/families, nursing staff and members of the health care team


• Advocate for ethical and holistic care promoting the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in Washington State or Multistate License endorsement (MLS)


• Bachelor’s degree in nursing (BSN) preferred


• Current BLS Certification required


• ACLS or NALS or PALS or TNCC or NRP certification, as required by facility or department


• Certification in specialty area preferred


• One (1) year of experience in acute care setting preferred

Pay and Benefit Expectations

We provide a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive salary, medical, dental and retirement benefits and paid time off. As required by various pay transparency laws, we share a competitive range of compensation for candidates hired into each position. The pay scale is $48.67 - $93.91 USD. However, pay is influenced by factors specific to applicants, including but not limited to: skill set, level of experience, and certification(s) and/or education. If this position is associated with a union contract, pay will be reflective of the appropriate step on the pay scale to which the applicant’s years of experience align.
